What to know before you start

A centered, translucent text label is added over every page. This version supports basic Latin text. The watermark is a visual label: it does not encrypt your PDF, prevent copying or securely hide information.

    Frequently asked questions

Can I use a watermark to redact confidential text?

No. Underlying content remains in the PDF and can still be extracted. Use a dedicated redaction tool to permanently remove sensitive information.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Files are processed in your browser on your device. There is no account to create and no server upload step.

    Can I use password-protected PDFs?

Password-protected PDFs are not supported. Use an unprotected copy that you are authorized to edit. Editing a digitally signed PDF can invalidate its signature.
